This looks like a rights escalation issue similar to the one that I reported a while ago on Synchronize Dirs (that was partially solved). The problem can be easy replicated on any Windows 7, Vista or Windows 2008 server: calculating the size of the folders in the Users folder (Documents and Settings in older versions) or any other protected folder does not work for those subfolders you don't have rights even after rights escalation (as Admin).
Using TC I can navigate to Users and I am trying to find out what is the disk space used by every user - I cannot. I can open a subfolder (with rights escalation "All as Admin"), I try to calculate the size (Alt_Shift-Enter) and it does not work. I can see the files, but I have to calculate manually and this is time consuming on any such folder with many, many subfolders.

Indeed this isn't currently supported, and I don't currently have any plans to change it. The problem is that TC would have to ask permission for all the subfolders. Also if you are in a directory where you have read rights and then select subdirs where you don't, they wouldn't be copied either.

Too bad it will not be supported because it is one of the most functions for server admins (checking the occupied disk space) and protected folders are more and more common with Vista, 2008 and later OS versions.
I saw 2 options in some places: As Admin and All as Admin. The "All" option is not able to ask once do many? Cannot be something similar used here?
