lost directory location in tab view

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

lost directory location in tab view

Post by *jab »

Hi,

First a quick, big thank for the great product !

I upgraded to Version 55a. I use the vertical arrangement (not side by side). I have several tabs always open (great for quick navigation of folders). I have Windows XP Pro SP3 and use english language setting.

If I close the Total Commander and reopen it, the two tabs location (one in each window) that ware active last, will be lost and reset to c:
Also if another Tab has the same location as the active tabwill be reset to c:.

For now the work around of closing Total Commander with a Tab, which location I don't need, is a work around, but would be nice to have the hickup removed in later versions.

All the best

Make sure that "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Operation" -> "Save on exit" -> "Directories" is enabled.
