Plugin to display Playlists

Post by *BdN3504 »

Hey,
I am searching for a plugin that is able to show m3u, m3u8 and pls playlist files. I want the plugin to show the files internally but i don't want to open them in tc.
I'll give you an example:
Playlist.pls is double-clicked in tc->all the files of that playlist are listed in tc. The files are represented by their filenames. metadata of the files does not have to be read. The only thing that is necessary is for tc to show the individual files of playlists so i can drag an drop them somewhere else.
I stumbled across the mmedia plugin by searching in this forum and elsewhere, but that's not what i am looking for.

Is there already a plugin doing that?

I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section. Please move my post to the correct one and delete this.

Hello BdN3504,
How about F3?

Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I use this Playlist-Lister Plugin: http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/playlist.html
After installation you can press F3 on any m3u or pls file.

There are some similar plugins. Search for "playlist" at site http://www.totalcmd.net/

Btw. if you also look for a good plugin to show information of mp3 and other audio files I can suggest this one: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/tc.html

Yes, thank you for your replies. I also found out about the play list plug in yesterday, but it's neither what I'm looking for. See, i don't want to have tc open another window in which information about files of the play lists are shown. I want to have tc show the files of the play list within tc. play lists should have a small plus icon to expand them and then i can access the files of the play lists. Like play lists being folders containing files with different locations.

If you want to handle playlist files as folders, you will need a tc packer plugin (wcx). But i don't know any plugin for your needs.

I like this idea of a playlist that music files can be added to by dragging and dropping within total commander.

If there is a command line tool to handle playlist files, so it could be added to multiarc to act as plugin.
