[Bug?] AmpView v3.3b1 - Halting after current song.

Post by *gewone »

Hi!

Just need to confirm if this is on me, or a consistent bug. Situation's like this, when I pop an .m3u with AmpView v3.3b1, it plays fine, but after the song has reached its end, the playback stops. I.e. it doesn't jump to the next track, even though I've told it to do so in the Options dialog. When I rollback to v3.2b10, the playback behavior is fine. If this is not just me, but a consistent bug, it's to be considered somewhat critical, isn't it? A quick fix, perhaps? :)

Ty in adv~

I've stopped using AmpView as it is completely inconvenient. It appears to only play songs in succession if you use playlists.

Even internal Lister will play all selected files.

As well AmpView wont always get all the selected files when you "view" them with lister, it randomly skips adding some of them unless you define an internal-association and other workarounds.

If I need to go through all that I'll just use something else, like MPUI (gui for Mplayer.exe) or WinAmp (version 2.95 or the most recent) or even IrfanView with it's MP3 plugin.

It's pretty simple to select-files, and press a button that launches any of those, or add an internal-association to launch the files in a media-player that actually works.
