Scrolling with more than 64k entries

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Scrolling with more than 64k entries

Post by *Moritz Kroll »

With more than 64k entries in a file list, using the scroll thumb doesn't work correctly. When releasing the thumb, the thumb bounces back to a much lower position (in terms of line numbers). In my case I have a folder with 205.727 directories (yes, it hurts...).

This probably comes from a 16-bit scroll position used with the SB_THUMBTRACK event. Switching to GetScrollInfo should fix this.

Confirm.
That bug already reported on the russian forum. It has been found in TC 7.5a, but gone in 7.55 RC2, and appears again in RC3.

I cannot confirm that it was gone in any version of TC - it's a bug of the used Windows Listbox control. Are you really sure that it works correctly in 7.55 RC2?
