Calculate occupied space minor text correction

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Calculate occupied space minor text correction

Post by *MVV »

In TC 7.56 additional line may be displayed in Ctrl+L message:
1 655 955 632 bytes in 1 file(s)
(= 1 617 144k, 1 579M, 2G)
I think there should be spaces before 'k', 'M' and 'G' just like in first line:
1 655 955 632 bytes in 1 file(s)
(= 1 617 144 k, 1 579 M, 2 G)
It is not clear to see something like 1 579M because groups of digits are separated with spaces but measure unit letter not.

I agree - it is not consistant with the unit placement other places in TC either.

I haven't used a space to make it more compact, so it's more clear what unit belongs to what number.

But when number contains more than one group of digits user may see only last group attached to unit letter, especially in line with many numbers. E.g. 579M and not 1 579M.
