Larger preview in Windows 7 taskbar with aero disabled

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Larger preview in Windows 7 taskbar with aero disabled

Post by *kire »

I've been using remote desktop to connect to my PC lately (which disables most of Aero's features), and noticed a small visual bug. I suppose it's a side effect of having the new 'pause' button during operations (which, by the way, is awesome!). It's easier to show than to explain:

The 'window title' button for TC seems to be slightly larger. Lister windows have the normal height, but Copy-in-background windows have higher buttons as well (because they have a pause button).

It is larger because the toolbar should display extra info about the copy progress and a button to resume copy operation, like this one http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/4776/tcaero.png

Yes, but perhaps it can be regular-sized when the window isn't copying anything?

Unfortunately this is impossible. Once the toolbar has been enabled, it cannot be disabled, even if all buttons are deleted (what TC does when the pause button cannot be used any more).

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
