Copying in background pauses on Cancel

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Copying in background pauses on Cancel

Post by *fenix_productions »

Copying in background pauses when cancelled.

Steps to reproduce:

1. set AlwaysCopyInBackground=2 in wincmd.ini
2. in left panel open some folder with test.txt file,
3. in right panel open another folder which also contains test.txt
4. focus right panel and hit F5 on mentioned file,
5. when "File overwrite" dialogue appears hit Esc key.

Copying dialogue is shown with copyflag: 0 within, which is in Paused state. IMHO it should just be closed.

Alternative case:
1-2 same as above
3. select few files from right panel (this set must contain test.txt) and hit F5
4. when "File overwrite" dialogue appears hit Esc key.

Files before overwrite gets copied. After that: whole process is paused instead of going on.

This isn't a bug - when there are still items in the background transfer list (e.g. additional files or commands), the dialog goes into paused state when you cancel the operation. This is done so the operation can be resumed if the user cancelled it by mistake.

So what kind of item copyflag:0 is?
I understand pausing for other items but for one file copy - this is strange.

Thanks. Something was telling me it's too obvious to be not seen ;)
