Wish: "Target tab" feature for tab

Post by *Raymond »

For hotlist setting, there's a useful feature "target path". Now I wish tab also has the similar feature, that is, when switch to a tab, opposite panel will automatically swith to the pre_specified tab.
It seems to me the case I mostly want to use multi tabs is that, when I have to wait for a task to be done, I turn to do something else, but dont want to lose the current location of both the panels. Before, I would launch 2 Totalcmd copies. Now I can take the advantage of tab. But with Version 6.0, after I return back, I have to switch both panel's tabs, it seems not so convenient. I hope a handy way back to where I were before. There should be a way to temporarily save the both tabs' status.
I know there's "save tabs on both side to file" and "load...". But this way even take more steps than switch between 2 Totalcmd copies.
Maybe, I think, there should be another kind of tab locking: lock both panels, so when I switch to one panel, another "locked" panel appears.
Hope I've explained clear what I want to say.
