TC7.50a freezes when CD is ejected

found problem on my system
I used Sysinternals' Autoruns to disable all non-microsoft autostart programs, services and a lot of drivers (except for the cd/dvd drivers) and finally, Total Commander (as well as Explorer) could notice the removal of the cd/dvd! 
in my case a driver of Outpost Firewall 7.0.x seems to be the problem: sandbox.sys
(if not some deeper complication with an aged cd/dvd driver ...have like 4 or 5 of them)
so the quick work-around for me was to disable/deactivate the sandbox.sys driver
however, before TC worked fine again, it was really bad that TC could not be killed safely, and even the system shutdown took very long!
Not even Process Hacker could kill it safely. Only with its most dangerous method it worked sometimes (the other times it crashed my system).
