Is it possible to make custom view when i go to "My Computer"?
Personally i like Windows Explorer "My Computer" on detail view with one column for "Disks" one for "Total Size" one for "free space" or even the "Computer Management/Disk Management" The top frame part!.. They are much clearer then the one i have on my total commander!..
Is this already possible and i missed it?

No but its more for my clients/friends.. Many of my clients get virus and almost 99% of them autorun.inf viruses and its because this people use Windows EXPLORER and they automatically start the viruses by clicking on there drives..
And for me to tell idiots people to use TC they want some standards they feel home with!.. I still haven´t been able to convert one person to TC because people think is to advanced.. So i hope i can help out so TC become more user friendly..(for idiots)..

To be serious: With TC 7.5 RC1 you can open the Windows Explorer view more comfortable from within TC for this purpose.

Answer: sqa_wizard"quoted the relevant sentence from the T.C. history.txt:nn1k3 wrote:Sorry to have to ask - how do I "open the Windows Explorer view from within TC?"
I.e. inside T.C. select a foldername. Press <shift><F10> and select the item "Open".History.txt wrote:07.08.09 Added: Right click menu: For folders, show additional "Open" menu item which opens the folder externally (in Explorer), e.g. for Control Panel
Admin shares will be found inside the network neighborhhood in the list of each network computer's list of shares, provided a machine publishes any admin shares.nn1k3 wrote:May I also say that I am puzzled that "show admin shares" doesn't seem to do anything. Win XP?
