Please don't use the unrar.dll of WinRAR4 from www.rarlab.com , it causes Total Commander to crash with certain (e.g. Russian) file names.

The author Eugene Roshal has fixed the crashes of the new DLL, so yes, you can use it with TC 7.56a now (older versions of TC may still crash due to some other changes in the DLL).

In the file whatsnew.txt of unrar.dll v4.0 I can read the next:

Just like WinRAR, UnRAR.dll does not support Windows 9x/Me and NT 4 anymore.
Minimum supported Windows version is Windows 2000.

Not tested it myself and surely not problems in your PC, but maybe it don't work in old systems or if you use TC as portable through other systems.
