ISO plugin supporting UDF format

Post by *wanderer »

Searching the forum confused me a little so i ask directly here: is there any ISO-reader plugin that can support UDF format?

I use the ISO 1.7.4.1 plugin but it does not support UDF format (not even reading). If there is another plugin that i can replace it with, i wouldn't mind (since it seems this one isn't being improved anymore) as long as it has at least standard ISO support + UDF.

Any suggestions?

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Had to do some minor alterations to adjust it to my preferences, but it seems to work nicely. Still no UDF support as i would like it though. It recognizes ISOs that contain both ISO and UDF info as plain ISOs.

Alterations i performed:

Support (almost) all available extensions in TC (except chm and msi, i prefer to be able to directly execute them by using ENTER instead of viewing their contents):
changes in pluginst.inf wrote:defaultextension=7z,arj,bzip2,cab,cpio,cramfs,deb,dmg,fat,gzip,hfs,iso,lzh,lzma,mbr,nsis,ntfs,rar,rpm,squashfs,tar,udf,vhd,wim,xar,xz,z,zip
Remove everything that has to to with 7zip from the plugin's folder and use 7zip files from the default installation folder instead (C:\Program Files\7-Zip):
changes in Total7zip.xml/total7zip.template.xml wrote:<path path_7z_dll="C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.dll" path_7zG_exe="C:\Program Files\7-Zip\7zG.exe" />

I only have one associated extension with Total7zip - 7z. :)
I enter all other archives via Ctrl+PgDn.
