FTP - multi-rename > "multi-move"

Hi! I fckin love Total commander!

now to the point: i use FTP often and.. I dont know if I am noob or if there is a way to move files on FTP i.e. to sub-directory or so.
So when i am in a window where on the right side i have ftp and there is a list of files, i can move a file to upper level directory by renaming FILE to ../FILE. It works nice.

Multi-rename tool ..another think I love! However when i try to rename to ../[N] it says <Error!>.. which is kinda annoying, I think that should/could work maybe? I dont know if I should call this a bug or not. Just wanted to point it out

I cannot add the screen cause of the spam protection.

The backslash is disallowed in the name field so you don't move files by mistake. There is a workaround, though:
Name: ..£[N]
Search for: £
Replace with: /

WARNING: You will not get an overwrite dialog if the target file already exists!

Interesting, except an absolute path doesn't work. E.G. Given:
Rename Mask: ...[N]
Search: ...

The following replaces work:
(1) Replace: foo.bar\
(2) Replace: ..\..\..\TEMP\

But this does NOT work:
(3) Replace: F:\TEMP\

Would be nice if there was a non-savable checkbox in the MRT to allow moving files, which would enable "..", slashes "\" and drive letters. Or to allow starting the rename mask with a double-slash, or question mark to indicate slashes, drive letters and ".." should be allowed and parsed like it would in nearly all the other TC dialogs.

-----> Rename Mask: ?C:\TEMP\?[N]
OR--> Rename Mask: [?"C:\TEMP\"][N]
OR--> Rename Mask: ["C:\TEMP\"][N]

Either one of those syntaxes would not be 'accidental' usage of a slash...

This doesn't work because TC always puts the full path in front of the given name. This works with relative paths in the name, but not with absolute paths.
