Select only the filename not the extension on Shift+F5

Post by *Nagger »

I have enabled the option "Select only the file name when renaming (not the extension)". For me its quite handy if i press Shift+F6.

I suggest the same behaviour if Shift+F5 is used (to duplicate the file instead of renaming).

You may press Shift+F5+F5 (F5 twice while Shift is down) to deselect extension.

F5 is enough in the dialog itself, no need for Shift.

It's correct. But it is easier to press F5 twice immediately than press F5 second time after releasing Shift. :)

BTW, both F5 and F6 work for both copy and move/rename dialogs. :)
