Hello Franck
after a loo...oong time I have to ask two thinks:
a) release of modification:
On totalcmd.net is still the version from 2008. What´s about an update?
b) starting of BAT-files:
At the moment I create many batch-files. I have to create them AND to start them later - two steps to do, sometimes annoying.
Is there a way to create and start them immediately, so that that batch is done instantly?
I made only few tests (I have to test more until christmas), but it seem to work fine.
The only problem seem to be a time-problem, because with "create single file per file" WdxInfoPacker creates i.e. 10 batches per second and every batch takes 3 seconds to finish. And every new batch uses the EXE which is still used by the previous batch.
It will work if I create and start a batch with 500 lines; but it makes problems if I create and start 500 batches with 1 line.
This is not a problem of th e software (not a bug), but a problem of my idea to start the batches. I don't know if it is better to add a "sleep / wait" feature - or maybe to cancel the idea ...
"never change a running system" But if they are old and no more supported it is unavoidable.
Long prologue, short question:
I used the Shell extension "CadXplorer" for some years to handle the contents of AutoCAD-DWG-files, and WDXInfoPacker and Shelldetails worked fine. Now I have to replace it with "DWG Column Handler" from JTB World http://www.jtbworld.com/dwg-explorer-column-handler.htm
, and the first results are:
- "Shelldetails" and MS Explorer works fine with the new tool.
- WDXInfopacker does not ...
I don't know why but at the moment the main problem for me is that the "+"-button in line 5 is not active, so I can not see which fileds are offered by the system.

I have to be more precisely:
a) Today it was inactive the most time. Only a short moment when I created a new template and imported from WinCMD.ini is was enabled. But after the first editing of a definition it became disabled.
b) The new shell-extension has configurable captions. For example when you deal with "keywords" of the DWG you can use a TXT file to change the words which are displayed, e.g.
I removed all me Shelldetails- and WDXInfopacker-settings and started from scratch.
Main problem: Every time when ...
- I enter the WDX-config-dialogue and click something (a tab ..)
- and go back to TC-pack-dialogue (no matter if I use cancel or OK),
- the next command on TC-pack-dialogue (OK or Cancel) crashes TC completely with "Access violation", "Write denied" or without any message.
But when I start "Alt+F5" and press OK (using the existing settings) it seems to work.
