Maybe it's installed in a directory where you don't have write riughts? Some plugins don't like that at all, and crash. Try re-installing it somewhere else.

Thank you! Exactly, I forghot, that SynPlus always writes to his ini in order to save history. I though it is enough not to try to change his configuration.
I've installed SynPlus 2.7.3 and added C#.hgl to the highlighters folder. However when I click on a C# source file SynPlus fails to recognise the file type and the default TotalCommander viewer is used instead.
Any suggestions as to what I might have done wrong?
The C#.hgl file came from the SynPlus highlighters pack.
- put your mouse pointer on the "SynWrite" text at the signature of his post
- press your left mouse button
- wait until the new website is loaded
- download
After adding the .hgl files into the Highlighter folder, I wasn't aware that I needed to manually add them to the hgls.ini file in the 'Application Data' folder.
Addressing ThMa's issue, I would like to know: How can I make SynPlus NOT to remember each file cursor position and open each file always at position (0,0)?
