large files in archives

Hi,

I'm working with large files that are archived with winace.
they however dont show up in total commander when entering the .ace archive.

the files i work with are about 20 to 40gb

Also .tar files display the wrong filesize with these files. they however do correctly decompress

Hmm, no idea - maybe the headers are encrypted?

Could you send me the first 1024 bytes of such a TAR file, please?
