TC hangs on nag screen when left/right inaccessible

I have some tabs on both sides, all tabs of right point to network path. Target network machine was turned off. When I start TC, it hangs for 20-30 seconds (together with nag screen window) w/o any options to cancel reading folder.

TC should show a "cancel" dialog after a few seconds. Maybe it's hidden behind the nag screen? Try moving the nag sideways a bit.

The only window behind it is TC window and them both hang, Windows replaces them with 'ghosts', both has grey contents.
