NTFS FileStreams - how to use?
How to use the file system plugin "NTFS FileStreams" ?
It is usable as administrator only!
but as administrator only - very badMVV wrote:so enter plugin's folder, then browse to file inside of it and enter file as archive - you will see all streams of that file.
as unprivileged user I see nothing (an empty window)
- Why you programmed it as file system plugin and not as content plugin?
- It must be possible to view alternate date streams as unpriviledged user. I can use dir /r to see which file has a stream and more < file:stream to view the stream.
My wish: Create a content plugin, so I can define my own view and hover a file/dir to view the ADS.
(Sorry for my bad English!)

I use NTFS Stream 1.0.1.59 too. But it cannot show the content of ADS. Or I can't find out how.

Define your own tooltip:A user defined view that is showing by hovering the file should by the best.
"Configuration->Options->Display: Help texts : User-defined [+]"

I'm not a plugin's author so question is not for me.Why you programmed it as file system plugin and not as content plugin?

But FS plugin is the most convenient way to see alternate streams because WDX can't show any files, it may be used only for displaying information like stream count, and WCX can't be called for particular file, it must be installed for entire file type (you can't use it for already associated file type).
