Bug report: Access Violation
The steps were these:
I searched (Alt+F7) for text files in c:\Program files.
I fed the results to the right panel - there were 255761 files
I left the Total Commander and worked in Firefox for a while
I returned to TC
I pressed the 'star' key to mark all files.
Then I THINK I pressed Alt+Enter.
Bug appeared
I have the bug report as image. How do I upload an image on this forum?
Update:
here is the stack trace: http://tinypic.com/r/adyxoh/7

Could you please post the report via Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V? This way I don't have to type in all those numbers manually. Thanks!

The error seems to occur in IContextMenu->QueryContextMenu.
The problem you have is most probably a faulty shell extension.
To correct it, please try the following:
1. Get the free tool ShellExView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
2. Start it. On 64-bit systems, start ShellExView with /wow64 command line parameter.
3. Sort the shell extensions by type
4. Disable all context menu shell extensions one by one (you can hide/keep those belonging to Windows, they are usually OK).
5. Continue until Total Commander stops crashing
6. Now you can re-enable the extensions which don't cause any problems

Normally they don't do any harm, so you can re-enable them if you use them. Otherwise you can keep them disabled.
