Multi rename tool - Date Taken (Aufnahmedatum)

Problem:
A common problem for me is to merge photos from my camera and my iPhone sorted chronologically correct by when they are taken.

Sometimes I have to edit images (often I work on copies) and then they get a new modified date, and the creation date is always changed anyways as soon as you create a new copy.

The only relevant date - at least for photos - and the date that never changes is the "Date Taken" (german: Aufnahmedatum).

Suggestion:
It would be great, if in the target name format, i.e. [YMD]_[hms]_[N], the date and time relevant placeholders [YMD]_[hms] could use the "Date Taken", instead of the Modified Date.

Maybe you could add a drop-down/select box, where one can choose, what date should be used by the placeholders.
