[x32] Scrollbar & mouse scroll button invalid in Lister

The horizontal and vertical scrollbars of the Lister window don't work when the Lister is displaying an image larger than the window size, either through a plugin like IrfanView or in the latest native gdi plus mode. The scroll button of the mouse doesn't work either.

Although I cannot confirm yong's finding I have to report a perhaps connected behaviour:
The scrolling due to turning mouse scroll wheel doesn't work either even while displaying text files (e.g. history.txt).

It's on 32-bit Vista-home with a 32-bit-TC.
What can I do to find the problem? The log-file does not contain helpful information.

EDIT: just tried it on an old 32-bit-XP-home and it works fine. Going to try it on Win7 tomorrow.

Thanks, I will try with Vista 32-bit. Does it work with TC 7.56a (Lister, text mode)?

Ooops ... no, it does not. Appears to be a computer problem ...!?!

Tried it in a VM with XP without plugins on the same computer: works
Tried it in Vista-32-bit without plugins (parameter /i=C:\TEST\test.ini): does NOT work.

What can I do to test further?
