x64 - TC freezes using right-button
Problem
Whenever I click the right button, TC x64 freezes.
My solution:
As always, the problem is in ContextMenuHandler. With autoruns (Sysinternals) you can disable the item giving problems. This time was EPP (Microsoft Security Shell Extension) and once disabled, everything is ok.

Where I can find this Microsoft Security Shell Extension? When I google for
EPP "Microsoft Security Shell Extension",
I can't find much more than this thread. Is it part of Windows? If yes, which Windows version?

Hi,
I can confirm that problem is antivirus from Microsoft named Security Essentials for 64 bits. If you have installed that software, right button doesn't work on files, drives or folders.
A workaround is deactivate with autoruns (Sysinternals) the EPP value that is in ContextMenuHandlers (HKLM\Software\classes\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers). This workaround fixes right button on files and folders but not in drives.
The final solution is uninstall the product and everything goes well.

Strange, I'm using Security Essentials too on my 64-bit machine, so far no problems. Is it the one which adds "Scan with Microsoft Security Essentials"?

Very strange... If you're using Security Essentials, I can't understand what's happenning. And yes, it's the one which adds "Scan with Micro........"
My machine is Windows 7 SP1 64 bits with updates till now. When I uninstall Security Esentials program (64 bits), everything goes fine, and when I install it, TC freezes with right button.
On other 64 bits machines, i don't have any problem because have another antivirus.

Strange, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit too, although it's in German.
Could you try the same with beta 2, please?

Great, then it was again the common problem with the Windows exception handling.
