8.0 Beta doesn't have it's own registry key.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

When TC 7.56a is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\TotalCMD
Installing 64bit beta, the installer recommends:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TotalCMD as the install location.

Installer should recommend:
C:\Program Files\TotalCMD

Beta should have its own registry key, minimally, the 64bit version should have it's own registry key so that you can separate the INI files/plugins etc.

Specifying a custom location for the 64bit beta changes the location 7.56a looks for it's config files.

TC suggests the same path for the case that people share things like plugins or settings in the program directory.

Balderstrom, BTW 64-bit programs have their own SOFTWARE key, 32-bit ones use redirected key SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node.
