I much prefer the 32bit context menus, it even has a 64bit sub context menu.
I know people have requested 64bit context menu. But i have been struggling to get an open with on unknown file types to come up with the 64bit context menu. I tried registry changes but to no luck.
Might be a workaround to this sort of problem, just a tick box (in options) to enable 32bit context menus in 64bit total cmd. As this sort of thing might be windows 7 limitations.
I've never had problems getting the dialog to come up in explorer, which is 64-bit, the few times I've had to use it - usually remoting into some secure 2k8 server I can't just slap TC shareware and VIM onto.
I have also no such issue here on TC8b1x64
Have you made a report?
Back on topic.
@daniloz, I'm gonna give that a go with the NAS at the office tomorrow, hopefully we'll have not one, but two impenetrable errrorwalls
Looks similar to the error I have with the context menu on samba share folders http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=31056, so it could even be more general problem, or is your network drive also a samba share?
