[8.0ß1-x64] NoClose.pif not working anymore
With 64-bit TC it is no longer possible to start programs using Shift+Enter: error "File not found!" is displayed.
I tested with FileMon and discovered that TC looks for file C:\Program Files\TotalCmd\noclose.exe and dows not even try to go into C:\Windows to find noclose there.

Oops, I forgot to include noclose.exe...
Please download it from here:

So far there is only a 32-bit version. I will write a 64-bit version for the next beta.

Thanks, with noclose.exe it works correctly. Man, finally using cmd.exe instead of command.com!

Indeed this was necessary because there is no longer a command.com in 64-bit.

You are right, I will remove it from the 32-bit installer, and remove all PIF files from the 64-bit installer. Unfortunately it's too late for beta 2, but I will do it in beta 3.

PIF files present in 32-bit and 64-bit installer
Confirmed:
Both installation packages still hold the PIF-files:
=> tc80x32beta2.exe
=> tc80x64beta2.exe
Because both T.C. 8 versions, 32-bit and 64-bit, now use noclose.exe / noclose64.exe, they are no longer needed for any NT based Windows system, i.e. NT, W2K, XP, Vista, Win7, W2K3, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2 etc.
I am not sure about zombie versions of 32-bit Windows like Win9x and ME though.
