Lister size/position

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Lister size/position

Post by *Giovanni »

Use a clean .ini file or delete the [Lister] section.

View a file:

32 bit:
- Default size and position are good
- Landscape view
- Full window in view
- Closing and opening lister many times will always be fully visible

64 bit:
- Default size and position is different
- Portrait view
- Bottom of window always obscured by taskbar
- Closing and opening lister many times will almost always have bottom obscured

I think that maybe height / width and x / y are reversed.

I know that I can use Lister's save position option, but I prefer the defaults because it is better with multiple resolutions.

64-bit leaves the positioning of Lister to Lazarus. The default size is 696x688 pixels.

But can the position be changed so that it does not interfere with the taskbar?

I don't know, I will try to find the positioning code in Lazarus. Btw, just drag the window where you want it and choose "Save postion" from the menu.
