[8.0?2-x64] unicode bug on define colors by file type

Post by *perichr »

using tcmd 8.0?2-x64 in chinese language.

The problem seems to occur is defining colors by file type. The setting file saved correct chinese characters of the file types title when adding, but the configuration dialog shows the garbled words, even different in the textbox and the listbox.

and why the setting file saves in ansi mode?

Please check it with TC8x64 beta3. It it fixed in it. :)

Just close TC, open wincmd.ini in text editor and save as Unicode (UTF-16 LE). Then TC will save settings in UTF-16 mode.

No, colors by file type does NOT support Unicode! It just supports the default language for non-Unicode programs. But that didn't work in beta 2 either, only English worked.
