[8.0ß4-x64]Find files:mouse scroll wheel works only on hover

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[8.0ß4-x64]Find files:mouse scroll wheel works only on hover

- Open Find Files dialog;
- Try scroll for previous values when any of combo boxes have focus for input.
Nothing happens. Values changed only when mouse pointer over the control.

I cannot confirm this for the 64 bit version - here I can scroll through previous values with the wheel, both when I hover the edit field and the control (down-arrow) button. (both with and without KatMouse enabled)

In the 32 bit version under Win XP 32 bit I can also scroll with the wheel, both in edit fields and on controls - with and without KatMouse enabled.

But in the 32 bit version under Win 7 on the other hand, I cannot scroll in those boxes with the wheel at all, even when KatMouse is enabled. This seems to apply to all combo boxes, except the command line, which I cannot wheel scroll at all (KatMouse or not).

Regarding the command line, wheel scrolling works here in the 64 bit version out of the box (no KatMouse nescessary). In the 32bit version it only works with KatMouse and run under Win XP 32 bit. When run under Win 7 64 bit (and katMouse enabled) I can see some flickering (I see the same in the Find files dialog) when turning the wheel. Without KatMouse in the 32 bit version (both when run under Win 7 and XP) turning the wheel over the command line just scrolls the active file panel.

If KatMouse is active, it is impossible to scroll search history w/o hovering. So we need to disable it for tests. Move mouse to corner of screen, press Alt+F7 and do scroll - search results are scrolled in 32-bit version but aren't in 64-bit version (in 64-bit version it is necessary to hover combobox to be able to scroll history).

I haven't tried scrolling without hovering either the edit part or the button part of the combo box.

But since I cannot scroll at all in the 32bit version under Win 7 x64 when hovering the combobox, I doubt that I can, when not hovering.

I will make more tests when I come home.

I don't think that I can do anything about that. However, I noticed that the search for text combobox had to be scrolled in the 64-bit version, but not in the 32-bit version. I will fix that (by increasing the dropdown count).
