Err.. sorry Roman, I completely forgot about it, moreover I'm using the alpha version here without any problems so I just left it as it is...
I'm not sure when I'll have time to fix it for win9X or make it a release.

OT: why do you still use w98, it's a crappy OS, w2k or XP are both so much better. (Not that I'm lazy, hehe)

Cheers.

why do you still use w98,
It's still a popular OS :)
Based on a research of AssetMetrix Win9x holds 27.2 % of OS versions (6.6% XP). Due to this fact, MS now re-enabled the support for 9x until at least 2006 !

Yes, and as we all know Microsoft is a very smart organization, not only that but the general public is awfully smart as well, look at the 90%+ that are using windows explorer for file management.

But that's not really a point, as I've written I'll check how to fix the w9x bug (it is an OS bug, not my code btw) but it'll take some time (time which I don't really have).

Cheers.

Thank you. :) Maybe simply remove all quotes except first and last before passing the string?

Because there are no drivers for my graphics card for XP. (And XP might be slower than 98 on my Duron 1.1GHz, 128 MB RAM).

try win2000. I just moved from 98 to 2k and found it much more stable and works much better (specially regarding memory and networking stuff). I'm using it on a p2-400mhz+128ram.
( I now only have win98 on another partition as a emergency backup OS.)

Yep, as Maxwish said your Duron is more than enough for both w2k and XP, I have a 'server'/firewall box here on XP with a P3 450, and it runs perfectly ok. w2k would be a very good choice, it's light years away from w9x's.

Cheers.

The main problem are the graphics card drivers, not the speed of my computer.

Why are you trying to convince me to switch to another OS? My W98 is stable and fast. 2K and XP would be slower and take up more disk space.

It's a Matrox Marvel G400. Graphics card drivers are supplied with the OS itself. They, however, do not enable the TV Tuner and video capture capabilities of the card. The guys at Matrox have tried to create drivers for 2K, but failed because one of the manufacturers supplying the on board video compression hardware (Zoran) went broke and so when they wanted to adapt the W98 (Video For Windows) system to the W2K (DirectShow) system they failed because they couldn't get the hardware specs for the Zoran chip from Zoran anymore. They tried to reverse engineer them, partly succeeding, however, not managing to finish the job in one year, thus being reassigned to another project, creating drivers for the Marvel G450-eTV. I know about these details because I was one of the ~10 betatesters who had the chance to beta test them. I also know that there are unsupported unofficial drivers at http://adis.szm.com , but I have no feedback about these. I might try them one day if I really need them, though. Until then I see no reason to switch to W2K or WXP.

We also have to use Win98 on one of our computers, because the software provided for our PC-Fax machine only supports Win9x and not NT/2000/XP. Many companies may be in a similar situation with some hardware.

Is it possible to prevent the creation of lst2run.log or set the lst2run.log-directory to \TMP\ ?

The Button:

Command: %COMMANDER_PATH%\lst2run.exe
Parameter: ?-s "\"#p\#f.#e\" /resize=(800,800) /jpgq=80 /convert=%T#f.jpg\" /aspectratio" -e "%%COMMANDER_PATH%%\..\Foto\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" -l %L

convertes the marked jpg-files from the TC-source-panel to the destination-panel and writes a lst2run.log in the TC-source-panel...:

""%COMMANDER_PATH%\..\Foto\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" "C:\Bilders\Camperino_Kroatien_Zadar_Sukosan\Bild.jpg" /resize=(800,800) /jpgq=80 /convert=C:\Bilders\Camperino_Kroatien_Zadar_Sukosan\Bild.jpg" /aspectratio"
