file:// support in folder path

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

file:// support in folder path

Post by *tomer »

Hi,

Not specific to TC8.0, probably exists on previous versions as well.

When editing the path (below the tab), entering file://... is not recognized (for example "file://C:").
Note that file explorer in windows 7 (and probably in others skus also) does support that.
As totalcmd is a file manager replacement, I believe it should include support for this notation as well.

Thanks,

Tomer

There is no need for this syntax in the path.
Xou can use cd in the TC command line and add your UNC path

Sorry, this isn't currently supported - TC isn't a Web browser.
