Imagine (Lister plugin for viewing img files) v. 1.9.0 (Apr 12 2025)

Imagine 1.0.9 WIP was released.

Now author has renamed 64-bit files (Imagine64.exe and Imagine64.dll) so it is possible to install both versions to same folder.

Just installed imagine and i think its quite nice to have, might replace IrfanView for browsing images.

However i noticed that Thumbnail browser works only in the .exe that is delivered with the plugin, but not in lister mode itself.

Is there a way to get Thumbnail browser working in Lister-mode (called with F3)?

If not, is there a convenient way to link /integrate the .exe file from the plugin folder?

How do you use (in sense of achieve integration) the Thumbnail browser of imagine into TC?

It was possible to start thumb browser from old versions, but author has removed this for some reason (don't know why), so now browser can be opened only from stand-alone program.

You can simply create a shortcut to start Imagine.exe with focused file.

And you can force imagine.exe to start in browser mode (= thumbnail mode) by using the command line parameter: /browse

petermad, AFAIK it is default start mode.
I was needed to add /viewer parameter to start Imagine in viewer mode instead of browser mode.

I can't do one thing with this, how to run this (F3) with fullscreen mode on??, I choose this in option but it doesn't work at least for me:/



@OK I know why, this is problem with version at newest 1.0.9 it doesn't work, but with old 1.0.8 it works fine:D

Once you have opened an image in Imagine with F3, then right click on the picture, choose Options -> Preferences and click on the tab marked "Full screen" and check the option "Start in full screen mode".

I still worked with earlier beta-versions of Imagine 1.0.9 - but it is broken in the final version from nov. 20 2012 - as also repoprted here: http://www.nyam.pe.kr/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=5210#p5210

webp lossless images make the plugin crash... this is also true for standalone imagine.
