1. Right click on a free place in the button bar and select "change"
2. in Command field type "cd c:\"
3. Autocompletion opens a list of available directories
4. a) Click on one of the items
4. b) Select one with your keyboard and press enter
5. The dialog "change button bar" closes, the changes are saved, but it should kept open for further modifications.

I changed this in many dialogs now, please report if you still find any dialogs with this problem.
