Sorry, cannot reproduce. I will check your report, though. Are your drive dropdown boxes hidden?

Some more questions:
1. Are you able to choose the drive by mouse?
2. What language of Windows do you use?

Hello,
First I must say, it’s difficult to reproduce this error, but I could see it 3-4 times this week.
To your questions:
1. Are you able to choose the drive by mouse?
-> Yes, no problem
2. What language of Windows do you use?
-> German
I analyse the error situation and found some more symptom.
1. It seems that this error only happens when TC 7.56a is also running.
2. It seems that when I press ALT-F1 in TC 8.0ß9 x64, Microsoft Windows 7 will activate the drive dropdown box in TC 7.56a x86. This fail’s and then I see the pop up window with the given error message in TC 8.0ß9 x64.
Strange ?
Regards
Michael

Hmm, that doesn't make any sense, TC 7.56a isn't watching system-wide for Alt+F1. Maybe the 64-bit version lost the focus? Windows can take away the focus from a program when it's busy for several seconds...

It depends on the speed of the network. Windows 7 seems to get impatient already after 5 seconds...Ok, but is reading a network directory with 249+ subdirectory slow enough for a lost focus ?

A moment ago I've got a very similar error:
Here's what I did before that: I selected two files, pressed F5 for copying from local drive to a USB flash, then quickly pressed Enter, Tab, Space (to start copying and confirm overwriting of files which I knew were also on the flash disk). Immediately the error appeared which I quoted above. In the background a Copy progress dialog is present with 0% progress.
A moment ago I've got a very similar error:
Code: Select all

Hello
I never realized a situation that TC 8.0ß9 x64 have a delay of 5 seconds before this error happens. I used a Gigabit network with 5 clients and I have no problems up to now.
I can confirm the observation from user 'flint' when it happens, the error window pops up immediately after the key press.
I never have seen this error when I use the mouse.
Hope it helps.
Regards
Michael
