TC8.0ß7 problem by marking files while holding shift-button

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Post by *knightrider »

hi,

when i mark some differernt files with left click while holding the shift-button, sometimes tc shows the following window /alert:

i checked my tc-directory on drive c: with no result:

i also checked my complete system with an antivir-scanner. no result...

p.s. i downloaded the 8.0 beta 7 from here:
http://www.ghisler.com/800_b7.php

also is it possible to downgrade from 8.0beta to 7.56a (stabile version)?

is it a bug?

my system: win7 home premium, 32bit, TC8.0ß7 32bit

You may either have bad RAM, or Totalcmd.exe really is damaged. Can you post an MD5 checksum of totalcmd.exe?

For TC 8.0b7 32bit it should be:
dfddd8c660464514ed6a772665d22c36

I would run a Virus scan ASAP if I were you!

You can just reinstall 7.56a over your TC 8.0 - but if you got a virus it won't help for long.

Without Losing

An over-the-top install is safe enough to avoid your having to worry about losing all your preferences.
