I have installed TC8 beta 12 64bits in English,
all my Windows 7 settings are in English,
Only my Location and date format is Israel.
After a quick test, it is the Region and Language Format that determines the left/right justify for everything on the screen:
With Format "Hebrew (Israel)", scrollbars are on the left, checkboxes are on the right of the text, drive letter appears as :C instead of C: and so on...

Thanks, this is a funny new "feature" in the updated Lazarus version. It seems to guess the right to left alignment from the user language. I will remove it.
