Complete ROOT access

Hello!

This is by far the best file manager for android (like the windows version on PC).

Could you implement full root access stuff?:) e.g.: Edit permissions, delete files on system partition etc.

Okay, I'm stupid, i found the remount button and now i can delete/copy files to the system partition and I can edit the permissions at the file properties.

Please remove this topic.

The problem is indeed that the remount button is a bit hidden. Maybe I will add it automatically if you choose the option "use root functions everywhere". What do you think?

I think it's a good idea.

Could you also add a "resume all" function in FTP transfers like in the PC version?

Click on the button with the green "+". Then choose "Internal command", click on >> button and choose command Nr. 119.

Please give me more details of what doesn't work. Maybe your file system is read only?

It's working, you just have to remount the partition in R/W mode.

i use rc5 and i tried the command "119- remount", what i cant still edit files for example build.prop although it is mounted for reading/writing.

Its seems only root explorer can edit it correctly (es file explorer wasnt able too)

Could someone edit build.prop or similar files? Or is this file more protectet and not possible to edit? Copy and deleting on root are working very well - strange

You also need to check whether the file itself is readable. You can see the attributes in the properties of the file, and also change them to read/write for everyone (rightmost column).

thx, its working ... i forgot to edit the user rights althoug under root explorer it wasnt neccessary:)

Root explorer seems to change the rights by itself as needed - I could do that too, but I think that it's a bit risky...
