[8.0ß18] SyncDirs, F6, Enter -> File disappears from list
When I rename a file in SyncDirs (even when file name was not changed at all), the file simply disappears from the list. The same-named file on the other side is then marked as unique giving the impression that the first file was removed completely.

Hello, Flint.
There must be more relevant factors than just using T.C. 8.0ß18 32-bit.
Cannot reproduce the reported problem so far.
Tested combinations:
Total Commander 8.0ß18 32-bit
Total Commander 8.0ß18 64-bit
Server 2008 R2
--
Total Commander 8.0ß18 32-bit
Wine 1.2.3
Ubuntu 10.04.3 Desktop 32-bit
Kind regards,
Karl

OMG! Indeed, with empty INI it is not reproduced. So I worked on reducing my working INI to find the minimal configuration for reproducing the problem. I bet you'll never guess which key caused the problem!
Code: Select all
[Configuration]
DrivesExportUpcase=1

Thanks, I will add support for it. TC is checking for the exactly matching path name, which is apparently changed by DrivesExportUpcase...

Hm.
My wincmd.ini holds these entries and the problem does not show.
What am I doing wrong?

There is no problem with DrivesShowUpcase=1, because then both the old and the new name have uppercase drive letters. There is a problem only when the old name (lowercase) and the new name (uppercase) have different case drive letters.

Hello, Hacker.
Cheers,

Don't think so. If the entries were not located in the section [Configuration] they would not have any effect.Hacker wrote:You are missingCode: Select all

Confirm the fix in 8.0β19.
