Settings not saved on exit (explicit save works ok)
When changing tabstops, exiting totalcommander does not save the settings (have it set to NOT minimize on close). Explicit save works fine, ruling out protection issues.

Are you setting the tabstops using the mouse on the tabstop bar, or are you using Configuration -> Options -> Tabstops ?
If you are doing it with the mouse on the tabstop bar - you have to manually save the setting - that way you can temporarily change the tabstops without spoiling your setting permanently.

fpostma,
Save on exit:

- Panels (brief/full, etc.)
- Old command lines
- Directory history

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
I don't think we are talking about the same - when I say using the mouse, I mean moving the tabstop borders over the file panels to the left or right with the mouse - in contrast to using the Configuration dialog.I do indeed set them using the mouse, entering the exact numbers using options is much to hard
Not here. This is about tabstop positions - not about folder tabs...When "Directories" is checked, TC should also save the tabs.
