syncronize dirs with webdav

Dear staff,

firt of all, thank you for TC; it is a wonderful program!

I have created an account on box. com and I would like to use TC (version 7.57a) + webdav (version 2.1) for managing it: in particular, I would like to use the sync folders command to backup my local drive with box. com.

This is the problem I am experiencing: TC correctly manages the dirs comparison and copies the files in the previously existing directories; however, when it has to copy a new directory and its files (i.e. a dir created on my local disk which is not yet present in the box. com location), the procedures halts due to error.
If I manually copy the dir from local to box. com, that works fine, instead.

By reading the log it appears that the webdav asks the remote position for the missing dir (which returns a file-not-found) and then fails to copy the files (rather than creating the missing dir).

I paste in the next post the detailed log from webdav, where those actions (not finding the dir and failing in writing the files) are described.


is there a workaround, or is it possible to fix this?

PS:
in the webdav prefs i tried both multistep and single step method, i tried both plain text and utf-8 for accents; I also tried the '/' as the ending character for dirs. finally, I did not specified the "load default settings" tab (should I?)

I can confirm with a different host (GMX) that this doesn't work. I will check whether it's a problem of Total Commander or the WebDAV plugin.
