Selection not visible on some icons

I find very useful the immediate selection tapping the icon, but with some files is difficult to view the flag "v" because the color could be similar..
I suggest to place the flag "v" near the icon or framing it with a square...

Strange, the icon is green with a white border, so it should actually be visible on all icons...

I realize that my observation is due to particular situations, not to the majority of cases, however, I submit an example where the selection is less visible.
