[TC 8.0 B22 x64] Format USB, and it does not gets updated.

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

[TC 8.0 B22 x64] Format USB, and it does not gets updated.

I formatted a 16GB pen drive from TC, but after finishing, TC would still show the old content.

Obviously if I told TC to show me a file, it would say not found.

So, I need to do Control-R.

Unfortunately Windows doesn't seem to send a notification (e.g. WM_DEVICECHANGE) when a drive is formatted. Maybe it is shown automatically when you turn on file change notifications in Configuration - Options - Refresh (lower part). If not, you will unfortunately have to live with it, sorry.

But TC 7.x 32 bit did work right. I mean, is not that terrible, but weird it worked on TC7 and older.

See? This is probably something close to the issue I wrote about on the other thread - about changes in the file system not being reflected by 8.0 x64. There is definitely a bug in there somewhere.

Sorry but auto-refresh works just fine here also in 64-bit after formatting the drive. As soon as I click on OK when formatting has finished, the panel is refreshed. Tested with TC 8 beta 22.

Maybe you turned off auto-refresh for this drive in Configuration - Options - Refresh (upper part).

Well... 8.0 is published but this bug stayed. In fact, this happens not on all of my partitions but generally it is visible. It really is there.

I'm sorry but I couldn't reproduce it, that's why it's in "will not be changed".
