Buttons bar requires repaint

Sometimes when I switch back to Total Commander, I see not repainted button bar:


... unfortunately I don't have exact workflow which leads to this failure.
I never saw this type of failure in TC 7.
I use Windows 7 64bit and TotalCommander 8.23_beta_64.

I have fixed the path for you. I have seen this too, when Microsoft Security Essentials was in front of TC - it seems that Windows doesn't send correct refresh messages then. Sorry, no idea why this is happening.

I found way to reproduce it (in TC8.0_x64):
1. minimize TC
2. use command line to "subst x: c:\windows"
3. restore TC
... drive bar requires repaint

But now I am confirming that the problem seems to be fixed in TC8.01RC5 x64. Thank you.

Yes, this was reported during the beta test, and fixed in RC4 or so. But I'm not sure whether this is the same problem which you had. Therefore please let me know if you find any other way to reproduce it.
