Cannot activate Alt+Z shortcut

Post by *Wincomuser »

When I try and activate the Target=Source shortcut (Alt+Z), nothing happens. Activating the command using the Commands branch of the menu works with no problem. So, what's wrong with this shortcut?

Edit: I used the hotkeys configuration and actually made it work. I wonder, however, why it didn't work in the first place. I know it worked a couple of weeks ago!

->Help->Keyboard there you can find predefined TC shortcuts.
I have no idea, why it could have worked before. Maybe then were this shortcut defined in the wincmd.ini perhaps onanother PC?

Under XP ?

Post by *Clo »

:) Hello !
• Just an idea: are you using Win XP ? If yes, some odd things occur when using the ALT key...
• Even if that worked before, XP could restore an older configuration in some cases. Please, check this in the Options of Windows.

• A stopgap could be to install a button in the toolbar with the same command than in the "Commands" menu; that'ld solve the problem, and it is handier and faster than to open a menu...

  Kind regards,
Claude

Thank you for your answers.
Clo, I am using Windows XP, but I don't recall doing anything that may have restored a previous configuration, at least without me noticing it!

Anyway, it's a good idea to add a button on the toolbar. I'll do that right away. :)
