Feature request: Double operations

Post by *Stone »

I'm new here so let me say "Hi everyone"
I'm sorry for my language skill, is not very fluently, as you can see :).

How about executing two operations by clicking one button. What I've mean is that you can put in to one button running some program and return to top-level bar. You could separate this by " ; " or another sign. (C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe; C:\Program Files\TotalComander\DEFAULT.BAR). You can even make simple menu similar to start menu, like this:
|Media|
default.bar /\ |Winamp|WMP|VPlayer| etc.
======== |...
where Winamp = C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe; C:\Program Files\TotalComander\DEFAULT.BAR
WMP = c:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe; C:\Program Files\TotalComander\DEFAULT.BAR
VPlayer = c:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\VPlayer.exe; C:\Program Files\TotalComander\DEFAULT.BAR

Best regards

As far as I understand, you are looking for a Batch Scripting functionality.

Aezay gives us a nice and usable tool for TC. Its a first attempt iin this direction. Look at :

Not exactly

I was thinking about, putting too commands in one in Start configuration menu or in default bar on the top of wc, for example : cm_OpenTransferManager; cm_Copy.

Well, this is almost a macro feature where TC Script Editor (that has been suggested here) will do your work. As far as supporting it internally... yes it would be better but till then there's an alternative at least! ;)
