TC can't create LNK of folder into its subfolder

I focus C:\Users\Me and press Ctrl+Shift+F5 to create profile folder link into folder C:\Users\Me\Links and TC tells that it is impossible. TC shouldn't treat LNK files as folders, it is absolutely ok to create folder LNK into its subfolder.

Sorry, this is also prohibited to avoid infinite loops with some programs.
