Maybe because of Android system changes. :D
It would be brilliant if you tell us which exactly plugin you have used for accessing Android system.

i use wfx 'Android ADB' administrate my samsung i939 mobile via TC on Windows 7.
In Android 2.1.1, i can copy or delete any file to / in my i939, but in android v2.1.2 i can not do so.
of course, my i939 is rooted whether in v2.1.2 or v2.1.1.

There is a discussion topic for your plugin, I think you should ask there.

i can not find any answer over there.
i think maybe the plugin 'android adb 6.4' can not set r/w properties in android v4.1.2 as required.
