More FTP :-)

Post by *marben »

I use TotalCommander for FTP connection to my webs, but I miss any functions, which I find in program FTPsync (www.fileware.com) :
- setting time/date local files to remote
- synchronize without any specify folders

Is possible add this functions to TC ?

I like TC and I glad that I could help with my registration to development of this program.

Sorry for my English

- setting time/date local files to remote
Setting the date/time of local files according to the remote files is already supported at 6.01

When I copy/move (upload) file from local to remote, the time/date remote file is set to actual time/date by remote server. I use v. 6.01 :-(

Could you give me advice? Thanks.

It is a "feature" of the FTP server to set the file date/time to the current one. Only a few of them support the remote modification of date/time entries.

Search the forum for more info using "FTP date" keywords.

Thanks. I was mistaken. FTPSync set time/date local files by remote files same as TC function Synchronize dirs works. I would propose this new feature in this case :

- synchronize local-remote without any specify subfolders
- option set for FTP to set time/date of local files by remote

Best regards.
