Ghost folders in Total Commander 8.01 (x64)
In Windows 8 (64 bit) when copying a file to a network folder, using the Windows Explorer style copy dialog set in options (which is very nice btw, it shows a graph of the speed, can pause and shows confirmation dialogs at the end of the copy process only, that's why I use it). After the copy process has started, then changing the network folder pane to another folder on the local harddisk, ghost folders start to appear in there whenever new files/folders are being copied to the network location. When refreshing the display the folders go away, so they're not actual folders, only displayed. The folders have the names of the folders that are being copied as well as one ghost folder that has the IP address of the server where the files are being copied to.

Unfortunately I have never seen such a problem - it seems that Windows is sending invalid file change notifications to TC. What type of server are you using? Is this another Windows PC, a NAS, or a Windows Server?

Same here with Windows 7 x64 and Total Commander 8.01 x64 on two different machines.
At work I use an Netapp filer and at home a Samba fileserver. When I copy a file to the network share, a folder with the name of the fileserver appears in the folder I copy the file to. It disappears as soon as the copy finishes.

TC 8.5 will check (via FindFirstFile) whether a file exists when receiving a notification.

Same here (Win 7 64-bit, TC 8.01 64-bit)
Same problem here, but I am just copying files from one hard drive to another...
The files appear in the folder that TC actual shows and soon disappear again...
As you can see, I want to copy the files from J:\Backup\...
to C:\...
But the files are shown for a short time in the root of J:
Very strange behaviour!
